Columbia Parks and Recreation's Blue Thunder Track Club is holding its annual Outdoor Registration Day for 2013! It will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. on March 9 at the Armory Sports Center (701 E. Ash St.)
Membership is open to youth ages 7-18. Blue Thunder offers athletes the chance to compete in AAU meets, in sprint, middle or long distance, jumps, throws, race walk and relay events. The season begins in April.
A fee of $80--payable by cash, check, money order, or credit card-- will cover AAU membership, entry to three AAU or USATF sanctioned events and a club t-shirt. New members should bring a copy of birth certificate to registration.
