Kids will be able to have their bikes checked and learn about safety at the annual Kids Bicycle Safety Challenge. The event will be the first of the Mayor’s Bike, Walk and Wheel Week set for May 14-21.
The Kids Bike Safety Challenge will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on May 14 at Shelter Insurance (1817 W. Broadway). Kids between kindergarten and fifth grade can bring their bikes for free inspections and participate in safety challenge games. Prizes will be awarded!
