Blue Thunder Track Registration Day

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

The Blue Thunder Track Club will host their outdoor season registration day on March 8 at the Armory Sports Center (701 E. Ash) in the downstairs recreation area.  Registrants can come by any time from 2 to 5 p.m.

The cost to join the club is $95.  Cash, check and money orders will be accepted.  Credit and debit cards cannot be accepted. Please bring proof of insurance as well as a copy of your child's birth certificate. 

Blue Thunder is gearing up for another successful season of sprints, middle distance, distance, jumps, throws, hurdles, relays and race walks to young men and women ages 7-18.  All skill levels are welcome.  The season will begin in April and run through the end of July.  Meets are held in and out of town.  Qualifiers will have the opportunity to compete in the AAU National Junior Olympic Games in Des Moines, IA at the end of July.  After the outdoor season ends, information will be provided for the cross country season.

Registration forms can be found at Parks & Recreation office (1 S. 7th), the Armory Sports Center or simply downloaded from the Blue Thunder website.  Registration forms will not be accepted prior to registration day on March 8.
