Bikes and Trees: Bringing Green Interests Together

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

GetAbout Columbia, in partnership with Columbia Parks and Recreation, is offering a free, 9-mile family bike ride for fellow tree and cycling enthusiasts from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 26. The bike ride will start trailside at the Stadium Blvd. Trailhead at the MLK Jr. Memorial at Battle Gardens, 800 W. Stadium Blvd.  

Participants will learn how to identify native trees and their unique ecological benefits, history and many uses. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Helmets are required for all riders.
