Where: Site of 3M and Parks and Recreation Urban Ecology Restoration Project, off of MKT Trail, park at Forum Nature Area, 2701 Forum Blvd.
What: City and 3M officials will gather to officially break ground on this project.
Notes: The project, which is partially funded by a $40,000 3M Foundation Environmental Stewardship Grant, will help restore the natural habitat around the MKT at Hinkson Creek. This was the former site of the City’s second sewer treatment plant.
