Public Input Meeting Set for Barberry Park Property Development

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting a drop-in public meeting for development of the Barberry park property, located at 3405 Zinnia Drive.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on October 7 at the ARC (1701 W. Ash). The proposed plans will be on display. Park staff will be on hand to answer any questions.

Proposed development plans feature a small/medium sized shelter and a fishing dock overlooking the pond. The park development will be funded by the Park Sales Tax, approved by voters in November 2010.

For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 874-7460.
