Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting two interested parties meetings on August 4 and 5 for proposed improvements at Rainbow Softball Center. A survey of Rainbow users was conducted earlier this summer. Staff has prioritized the desired improvements to the complex based on user input and available funding.
The public is invited to drop in and comment on the proposed improvements from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on either August 4 or 5 at the Rainbow Softball concession building in Cosmo Park, 1615 Business Loop 70 West.
The Rainbow Softball Center Improvement Project is proposed in the City's Fiscal Year 2012 Capital Improvement Program and, if approved, will be funded by $200,000 in recreation user fees.
