Columbia Parks and Recreation is holding the Annual Kite Flying Day from 12 to 2 p.m. on April 11 at Douglass Park.
The event is free; prizes will be awarded for Largest Flying Kite, Smallest Flying Kite, and Highest Flyer. Participants are encouraged to bring their own kites or a limited number of kites will be given to children who do not have one to fly.
