Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting a drop-in public input meeting regarding improvements to the archery range at American Legion Park.
The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on November 4 at the American Legion Hall at 3669 Legion Lane. Improvements may include new targets, extended shooting distances, new fencing and shooting pad. Proposed plans will be on display and park staff will be available to answer questions.
Funding for the project will come from 2010 Park Sales Tax funds and a grant from the Easton Foundation. For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 874-7460.
