GetAbout Columbia, in partnership with Columbia Parks and Recreation and Lucky's Market, invite cyclists on a free, 6 mile bicycle tour of holiday light displays. It's a Wonderful Ride: Holiday Lights Bicycle Tour will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 13. The ride will start at Lucky's Market, 111 S. Providence.
GetAbout Columbia ride leaders will guide cyclists on a slow-paced tour of festive holiday decorations found in and around downtown Columbia, surrounding campuses and residential neighborhoods. Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed rider and best-decorated bike. Warm beverages and treats will be available courtesy of Lucky's Market.
All participants must be comfortable riding on city streets. Participants must wear a helmet and have bicycles outfitted with front and rear lights. Registered cyclists will receive a gift bag including a bicycle taillight. Route maps will be provided at the start of the ride. Register online at GoColumbiaMo.com or call Columbia Parks and Recreation 573-874-7460 or 573-874-7700. Weather related cancellation information can be found by calling 573-874-7663.
