Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting a drop-in public input meeting regarding the second phase of improvements at Douglass Park.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 13 at Douglass High School, 310 N. Providence. This next phase of park improvements includes shelter replacement, sidewalk improvements, new playground equipment and the addition of a skate spot. Proposed plans will be on display and park staff will be available to answer questions.
Funding for the project will come from 2015 Park Sales Tax funds. For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 573-874-7460.
