Columbia Parks and Recreation will hold the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Candlelight Walk and Memorial Celebration on Jan. 18.
The candlelight walk will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Douglass High School, 310 N. Providence Road, and proceed to the Memorial Celebration at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 407 E. Broadway. The memorial will begin at approximately 7 p.m. During the service, members of the community will be recognized with the annual Dr. King awards.
