Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting a drop-in public meeting on August 16 to gather input regarding proposed improvements at Albert-Oakland Park. These improvements include a new restroom and athletic field renovations.
The public is invited to drop in and comment on the proposed improvements from 6 to 7 p.m. on the 16th at the ARC, 1701 West Ash. The public meeting will be held right before the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting.
Albert-Oakland Park improvements are budgeted in the City's proposed FY 2013 Capital Improvement Program, to be funded by the Park Sales Tax. Funding is pending City Council approval of the FY 2013 budget.
