Columbia Values Diversity Awards

Do you know an individual/family or organization/group (community group, business, school, church, etc.) who has had significant impact in our community in promoting appreciation for diversity and cultural understanding? People whose work in our community exemplifies the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in fostering individual dignity, racial equality, understanding, peacemaking, and solving problems through non-violence?

Each year, the Columbia Values Diversity Celebration Planning Committee recognizes citizens who make significant contributions to our community through the Columbia Values Diversity Award program. Two awards are presented annually at the Columbia Values Diversity Celebration:

Nominations for the 2011 Columbia Values Diversity Awards are now available. To submit a nomination, please download and complete the following form:

The deadline to submit a 2011 nomination is Tuesday, November 30, 2010.
