For over 50 years the
City of Columbia has been committed to providing public health services through its
Health Department.
These services prevent epidemics and the spread of disease, protect against environmental hazards, promote healthy behaviors, prevent injuries and illness, assure the quality and accessibility of health services and monitor the health of the population.

General Information

The 2009 Columbia Values Diversity Celebration will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 7:00 a.m.-8:45 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Select Expo Center. The Celebration brings people together from throughout our community to share breakfast and a special program honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The highlight of the program will be an original artistic program. The annual Columbia Values Diversity Awards will also be presented at the Celebration.
