Effective July 1, 2010, the City of Columbia and County of Boone are seeking proposals from local social service agencies to provide Basic Needs and Emergency Services (e.g. emergency shelter, transitional housing, food). These services will be contracted for FY2011 with the option to renew for two additional years (FY2012 – FY2013).
Please refer to the Social Services Funding Policy for detailed information regarding the City and County's social services funding policies and procedures.

The deadline to submit a proposal for FY2011 funding was July 30, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.
The Division of Human Services utilizes the CTK Online Data Manager (ODM), a web-based grants management system through which proposals for City of Columbia and/or Boone County social services funding must be submitted. Please refer to the following link for detailed instructions about submitting a proposal through the ODM.
For questions about accessing and/or using the ODM or to report technical difficulties, please contact the Division of Human Services.
In October, hearings for all applicant agencies are held by the commission.
At its November meeting, the commission holds a public hearing in regard to the commission's preliminary funding recommendations for the upcoming fiscal year.
