Social Services Funding Information for the Current Fiscal Year

City and County Social Service Funding Allocations

For FY2010, the Boone County Community Services Advisory Commission received social service funding proposals from 34 local agencies for 52 different social service programs. The commission reviewed these proposals, held hearings with applicant agencies and recommended funding for 28 agencies and 44 programs. These funding recommendations were forwarded to the City Council and Boone County Commission and approved and appropriated in their respective FY2010 budgets.
