Agencies interested in applying for FY2010 funding should download and complete the Proposal Form and related documents below. Please contact the Division of Human Services if you need assistance.

This chart is used to help categorize expenses correctly when completing the agency and program budget pages of the proposal form.

New Program Information

Agencies wishing to apply for funding for a program which is not currently funded by the City/County must first apply for "New Program Status". Please refer to the Social Services Funding Policy for detailed information about new program funding.

Agencies wishing to request new program status should complete and submit the New Program Status Request which is available from the Office of Community Services or can be downloaded by clicking the link below. This form must be completed and submitted to the BCCSAC prior to applying for funding for a program which is not currently funded by the City/County.

New Program Status Request (New Program Status Requests are made available each year at the time the annual RFP for social services funding is issued.)

The deadline for submitting a New Program Status Request for FY2010 funding is 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009.

Public Comment and Hearings

Each year in May the commission seeks written public comment in regard to social service needs and the impact of social service programs in Columbia and Boone County.

In June, hearings for all applicant agencies are held by the commission.

FY2010 Agency Hearing Schedule

At its July meeting, the commission holds a public hearing in regard to the commission's funding recommendations for the upcoming fiscal year.
