Chapter 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS
Section 1-11.074 May, 2000 Extension of Corporate Limits.
The corporate limits of the City of Columbia shall include the following land:
A portion of Tract #1 of a survey recorded in Book 720, Page 359 and located in the west half of
Section 21, Township 49 North, Range 12 West, Boone County, Missouri; being all that part
lying north and west of the present City limits of Columbia:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Tract #1 of the survey recorded in Book 720, Page 359;
thence with the south line of said Tract #1, N89E-49'W, 588.75 feet to the centerline of the sewer
easement described in Book 513, Page 762; thence with the centerline of the said easement,
N51E-24'E, 283.5 feet; thence continuing with said centerline, N29E-24'E, 274.95 feet to the
beginning of a sewer easement recorded in Book 1180, Page 195; thence with the centerline of
said easement on the following courses: N4E-47'-50"E, 359.9 feet; N25E-53'-30"E, 372.82 feet;
N60E-24'-45"E, 162.81 feet; N7E-00'-20"E, 249.22 feet; N35E-16'-10"E, 298.19 feet; N23E-24'-15"E,
438.4 feet; thence leaving the centerline of the easement, S52E-24'E, 742 feet, more or
less, to the west right-of-way line of Browns Station Road; thence with the west right-of-way
line, S41E-23'W, 570.6 feet to station 1021+44.6 of Brown Station Road; thence 341.86 feet on a
1432.7-foot radius curve to the left (chord bears S34E-44'W, 341.1 feet); thence S28E-05'W,
1048.5 feet to the Point of Beginning. The portion of this tract which lies outside the present City
limits is 15.7 acres, more or less.
AND
A portion of Tract #1 of a survey recorded in Book 720, Page 359 and located in the west half of
Section 21, Township 49 North, Range 12 West, Boone County, Missouri; being all that part of
the following described tract west of the present City limits of Columbia:
Starting at the southeast corner of Tract #1 of the survey recorded in Book 720, Page 359; thence
with the west right-of-way line of Brown Station Road, N28E-05'-E, 1408.5 feet; thence 341.86
feet on a 1432.7-foot radius curve to the right (chord bears N34E-44'E, 341.1 feet); thence
continuing with the west right-of-way line, N41E-23'E, 570.6 feet to the Point of Beginning;
thence N52E-24'W, 742 feet, more or less, to the centerline of a sewer easement recorded in
Book 1180, Page 195; thence with the centerline of the easement, N23E-24'-15"E, 241.45 feet to
the south line of an electric transmission easement recorded in Book 366, Page 619; thence with
the south line of the electric transmission easement, N52E-24'W, 513.65 feet to the north line of
said Tract #1; thence with the lines of said Tract #1 on the following courses: S88E-55'-45"E,
1400.4 feet; S15E-57'-45"E, 329.65 feet; S47E-01'W, 124.65 feet; S46E-50'W, 113.5 feet; S47E-09'W,
155.3 feet; S41E-24'W, 156.45 feet; S48E-36'E, 21.35 feet; S41E-23'W, 326.75 feet to the
Point of Beginning. The portion of this tract which lies outside the present City limits is 14.5
acres, more or less.
