Prior to the adoption of 17135 on 04/08/2002, Section 11-67 read as follows.
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly have
in his possession or to present for
refund any beverage container as defined in this article upon which the markings required by
section 11-64 have been forged or altered.
(b) It shall be prima facie evidence of such forgery or alteration
if such markings do not
conform to section 11-64(b) and any standards promulgated by the director of health under
section 11-62 relating to such markings.
(c) "Knowingly" shall be defined in accordance
with the definitions in chapter 16.
(d) Violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor,
punishable under Article II of
chapter 11 of this Code. Each presentation of a forged or altered container shall constitute a
separate offense.
