Chapter 15 MUNICIPAL COURT*
Section 15-24 Failure or refusal to pay fines or costs.
Upon failure or refusal by any person, who has been convicted
in the municipal court and
fined by the municipal judge for violation of any ordinance of the city, to pay such fine, the court
may order, except in cases of indigency, that the defendant be imprisoned until the fine and costs
are fully paid, or if the fine is not paid, then for every ten dollars ($10.00) of such judgment the
prisoner shall serve one day in jail or other place of confinement.
