(a)     The city shall pay the job-related professional organization dues of permanent city employees when approved by their department head.

    (b)     The city shall pay fees for professional and other licenses required by permanent employee job descriptions other than basic drivers licenses. Such payments made by the city shall be deducted from an employee's last pay check if the employee leaves the city service within six (6) months after the payment was made.

    (c)    The city’s public works department shall pay the fee for any permanent employee to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to work snow removal for the public works department.
