Prior to the adoption of Ord. 16191 on 09/20/1999, Section 19-108 read as follows.

Each individual in a full-time police capacity not under jurisdiction of the Columbia Police Officer's Association working a forty-hour week will be allotted an amount of twenty-six cents ($0.26) per hour, to be added to the individual's regular rate of pay, for the purpose of purchasing necessary footwear, off-duty sidearms, off-duty ammunition, and other incidentals necessary for the performance of the total police function. ~~Individuals working a 42.5-hour week will be allotted an amount of twenty-five cents ($0.25) per hour.~~
