Chapter 19 PERSONNEL POLICIES, PROCEDURES, RULES AND REGULATIONS*
Section 19-167 Temporary appointments.
(a) If a position in the classified service is to be filled for a limited time
only, appointments
may be made from the list of eligible individuals interested in full-time work, except that their
temporary or seasonal appointment shall not affect their eligibility for full-time positions.
(b) Former
temporary
employees may be rehired without certification by the human
resources department provided the human resources department is notified accordingly. All
temporary and seasonal appointments shall be coordinated through the human resources
department.
