Chapter 2 ADMINISTRATION*
Section 2-142 Plan and agreement for benefits.
The city manager and city clerk are authorized and directed,
on behalf of the city, to prepare,
execute and submit to the division of budget and comptroller of the state, a state agency, a plan
and agreement for extending benefits to such eligible employees and officials of the city in the
form prepared by the state agency and hereby approved and adopted by the city council, which
plan and agreement are to become effective upon approval thereof by the state agency, and are
further authorized and directed to execute agreements and modifications and amendments thereof
with such state agency, providing for the extension of such benefits to such employees and
officials as set forth in the plan and agreement as provided for in section 2-141, such plan and
agreement to provide that such extension of benefits is to be effective on January 1, 1951.
