Chapter 2 ADMINISTRATION*
Section 2-159 Appointment of temporary clerk.
Whenever for any reason the city clerk is unable to perform
the duties of his office, the city
council shall, by resolution, appoint a temporary clerk, who shall possess all qualifications
required by the charter or ordinances of the city clerk, and who shall have all the powers and
perform all the duties of the regular clerk.
