Prior to the adoption of Ord. 20848 on 01/18/2011, Section 22-192 read as follows.


    Upon the transfer of record, legal title of any dwelling or portion thereof  which has a certificate of compliance or a provisional certificate of compliance, the certificate of compliance or the provisional certificate of compliance shall immediately expire.  The new owner or titleholder may submit an application for a certificate of compliance. , the transferee shall cause the existing certificate to be transferred for the unexpired portion of the term for which it was issued upon making written application to the director, on forms to be supplied by the director, within fifteen (15) days from the date of transfer, and upon payment of a two dollar ($2.00) transfer fee for the certificate sought to be transferred. The application for transfer shall contain the same information and be in the same form as required by comply with the requirements of section 22-186(b). Nothing contained in this section shall affect the validity of any sale, transfer or disposition of any interest in real property.
