(a) The director of public works shall establish the street numbers of all houses and buildings in the city. It is hereby made the duty of the owner of each house or building fronting on a public street to keep and maintain the number so established on such house or building in numerals at least two (2) inches high at a place where it shall be clearly visible from such street. In addition, it is hereby made the duty of the owner of each house or building in the central business district, as defined in section 14-1 of this Code, which abuts an alley to keep and maintain the number so established on such house or building in numerals at least two (2) inches high at a place where it shall be clearly visible from such alley.

    (b) The owner or manager of a mobile home park shall establish a map of the layout of the mobile home park, showing the location of individual mobile home spaces by number, and shall keep or maintain the number so established on such individual mobile home space lot or on the mobile home at a place where it shall be clearly visible from the street, drive or roadway on which it fronts.

    (c) Any person violating this section who fails to abate or correct such violation within fifteen (15) days of receiving notice of such violation shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
