Section 27-122 Water rates inside city limits--Residential/commercial multiple family facilities.
Prior to the adoption of Ord. 16422 on 05/01/2000, Section 27-122 read as follows.
(a) The rates to be charged for water furnished to residential customers, and
commercial
multiple family facilities customers, within the city limits by the water plant of the city are
hereby fixed as follows:
(1) Rates per one hundred (100) cubic feet (1ccf), inside
city limits:
All water, beginning with first one hundred
(100) cubic feet (1ccf) . . . . $ 1.347
Summer surcharge imposed by subsection (b) . . . . 1.634 1.886
(2) Minimum charge per month, charged in addition to
the volume charge in subsection
(a)(1), based on meter size:

(b) Summer surcharge. A surcharge will be assessed on water consumption
occurring during
summer as defined in Section 27-16 which exceed one hundred twenty (120) per cent of the
customer's average monthly winter use as calculated for the basic sewage service charge under
section 22-263.
