Section 27-122 Water rates inside city limits--Residential/commercial multiple family facilities.
Prior to the adoption of Ord. 18690 on 09/19/2005, Section 27-122 read as follows.
(a)
The rates to be charged for water furnished to residential customers, and commercial
multiple family facilities customers, within the city limits by the water plant of
the city are
hereby fixed as follows:
(1) Rates per one hundred (100) cubic
feet (1ccf), inside city limits:
All water, beginning with first one hundred (100) cubic feet (1ccf)

(b) Summer water usage. All water consumption,
occurring during summer as defined in
Sec. 27-16, which exceeds five (5) CCF for the billing period will be charged at the summer rate
listed in subsection (a)(1).
(1)
Exception. For commercial multiple family facilities served through a single meter, and
for water service metered separately for lawn irrigation, the summer rate will be assessed on
water consumption occurring during summer as defined in Sec. 27-16 which exceeds one
hundred percent (100%) of the customers average monthly winter water use during the
immediate preceding billing periods of January, February and March.
