Chapter 27 UTILITIES*
Section 27-125 Same--Fire protection.
No monthly charge for water shall be made for fire protection facilities, sprinkler
systems,
hose closets, etc.; provided, that any water used by such system is used for the sole purpose of
preventing or extinguishing fires.
Metered water use from fire hydrants shall be billed at the
residential rate in effect for the jurisdiction and the season when used.
