Section 27-214 Meetings; attendance; quorum.
Prior to the adoption of Ord. 16869 on 04/16/2001, Section 27-214 read as follows.
The first monthly meeting of each fiscal year, the board
shall elect a chairman and vice-chairman from among its voting members. A quorum of five (5) members
shall be necessary to
conduct business. All business shall be by resolution or motion with four (4) positive votes
necessary to approve any measure. Any member who shall be absent from three (3) monthly
meetings in any year without the prior approval of the board shall automatically forfeit his office.
Upon three (3) unapproved absences by a board member, the chairman shall notify the council
that there is a vacancy on the board and request the appointment of a new member.
