Section 4-2 License--Required; term; renewal.
Prior to the adoption of Ord. 18006 on 03/01/2004, Section 4-2 read as follows.
It is hereby declared unlawful for any person, either by
himself or through the use of agents or
servants, to engage in the manufacture, brewing, sale or distribution of intoxicating liquors or
nonintoxicating beer, as defined in this chapter, within the city, without first having obtained a
license therefor in compliance with the terms of this chapter. Such license shall be issued for a
period of one year from the thirtieth (30th) day of June each year. Persons desiring to secure
licenses after the thirtieth (30th) day of June shall pay for such portion of the license year
remaining at the time such license is issued. Thereafter, all renewals of licenses shall be made on
the thirtieth (30th) day of June each year.
