Section 7-3 Line of succession in absence of city manager.

(a) If the city manager is absent or disabled, the person designated to be acting city manager under section 19 of the charter shall assume the duties of the city manager.

(b) If the city manager is absent or disabled and no person designated as acting city manager under section 19 of the charter is available and able to serve as acting city manager, the acting city manager shall be determined in accordance with a line of succession prepared by the city manager and attached as an appendix to the emergency operations plan.
