Council Bill No.          R 4-99          

declaring the necessity for the construction of a water main along the north side of Mexico Gravel Road; stating the nature of and the estimated cost of the project; providing for payment for the improvement; determining that the work shall be done by City employees; and setting a public hearing.

The City Council deems the construction of a 12-inch water main along the north side of Mexico Gravel Road from just east of Spring Cress Drive to Lake of the Woods Road, in accordance with Water and Light Department water main plans and specifications necessary to the welfare and improvement of the City.

The estimated cost of this improvement is $ 42,000.00.

Payment for this improvement shall be made from the Water and Electric Fund using funds appropriated in Capital Improvement Project No. WT0092.

The above described work shall not be bid but shall be constructed by city employees as advised by the City Manager pursuant to Section 73 of the Charter of the City of Columbia, Missouri.
