Ordinance No.            15865              Council Bill No.          B 1-99             

declaring it is in the public interest to proceed with construction of a water main along the north side of Mexico Gravel Road; approving the plans and specifications; determining that the work shall be done by City employees; providing for payment for the improvement; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

The Council finds and determines that construction of a 12-inch water main along the north side of Mexico Gravel Road from just east of Spring Cress Drive to Lake of the Woods Road is necessary for the welfare and improvement of the City and that it is in the public interest that such improvement be made.

Payment for this improvement shall be made from the Water and Electric Fund using funds appropriated in Capital Improvement Project No. WT0092, and such other funds as may be lawfully appropriated.
