AN ORDINANCE

amending Chapter 14 of the City Code to correct the description of the location of the 45 mph speed zone on State Route PP; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is hereby amended as follows:

Sec. 14-223. Speed restrictions on city streets.

(a)    No person shall drive a vehicle on any street at a greater speed than is reasonable and approved under conditions then and there existing.

(b)    No person shall, where no special hazard exists, drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of the following:

(6)    Forty-five miles per hour, night and day, on:

        a.    Range Line Street, from Vanwood Way north to the north city limits.

        b.    State Route TT, from Fairview Road to south city limits.

        c.    State Route PP, from Route TT to the west city limits U.S. 63 Connector to Crump Lane.
