Council Bill No.        R 40-99            

setting a public hearing to consider sanitary sewer utility rate increases.

SECTION 1. A public hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Columbia, Missouri in the Council Chamber on the Fourth Floor of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, Missouri on Monday, March 15, 1999 at 7:00 p.m. to consider sanitary sewer utility rate increases of 3% to take effect in June, 1999. This would be the second of three rate increases that were planned and publicly discussed at the time of the November, 1997 election in which the voters authorized the issuance of sewer system revenue bonds.  All citizens and interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.

SECTION 2.  The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause notice of this hearing to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in Boone County, Missouri.
