Council Bill No.          R 249-99          

expressing appreciation to Jeffrey E. Smith for donating land to the City of Columbia.

    WHEREAS, Jeffrey E. Smith is donating to the City 50 acres of land on Brown Station Road in Columbia; and

    WHEREAS, this property has the potential to serve as a site for a community park and for a new fire station.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Columbia, Missouri, thank Jeffrey E. Smith for his generous gift of land to the City.
