Ordinance No.            16308              Council Bill No.           B 453-99            

        

authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission pertaining to the use of enhancement funds for the construction of sidewalk along the east side of Providence Road from Business Loop 70 north to Texas Avenue; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

    SECTION 1.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission pertaining to the use of enhancement funds for the construction of sidewalk along the east side of Providence Road from Business Loop 70 north to Texas Avenue.  The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.  The sum of $ 49,600 is hereby appropriated from funds to be received from the State of Missouri and placed in the State Revenue Account No. 440-0000-462.10-00 C00039 to the Providence Road Sidewalk Project Account No. 440-8800-528.49-90 C00039.

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
