AN ORDINANCE
amending Chapter 14 of the City Code as it relates to reserved parking for police vehicles;
and
fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.
SECTION 1. Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Columbia, Missouri, is
hereby amended as follows:

Sec. 14-335. Reserved parking for police vehicles.

(b) When signs are placed, erected or installed giving notice thereof, it
shall be unlawful for
any person to park a vehicle other than a Columbia police department vehicle at any time on the
twenty-five (25) foot section of curb on the east side of Ninth Street between Broadway and
Walnut immediately south of the east-west alley.
(
bc) The police department shall pay the parking utility
a fee of five hundred twenty dollars
($520.00) per year (or monthly proration thereof) per parking space reserved for parking police
vehicles pursuant to subsection (a).
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
