AN ORDINANCE

rezoning property located north and east of the northeast corner of Parker Street and Holly Avenue from District R-1 to District R-3; amending the land use plan; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Zoning District Map established and adopted by Section 294 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:

Lot Four (4) as shown by the A.C. Nichols Survey recorded in Plat Book Four at Page Thirty-three of the Records of Boone County, Missouri, said Lot No. Four (4) being a part of the Northeast Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Six (6), Township Forty-eight (48), Range Twelve (12) in Boone County, Missouri.

Lot Five (5) as shown by the A.C. Nichols Survey recorded in Plat Book Four at Page Thirty-three of the Records of Boone County, Missouri, said Lot Five (5) being a part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section Six (6), in Township Forty-eight (48), Range Twelve (12) in Boone County, Missouri.

The North Fourteen and Fifty-three Hundredths (14.53) acres of the following described tract of land, to-wit: The West Thirty-nine and Ten Hundredths (39.10) acres of the Northeast Quarter of Section Six (6), in Township Forty-eight (48) North of Range Twelve (12) West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, all in Boone County, Missouri; EXCEPT that part described in the Deed to J.M. Allton recorded in Book 250, Page 516, Deed Records of Boone County, Missouri and EXCEPT Lots 1 through 5 of the A.C. Nichols Survey recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 33, Deed Records of Boone County, Missouri.

will be rezoned and become a part of District R-3 (Medium Density Multiple-Family Dwelling District) and taken away from District R-1 (One-Family Dwelling District).

    SECTION 2.  The property described in Section 1 is designated “Medium Density Residential” on the Land Use Plan.

    SECTION 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
