Section 101-296 Ord. 16478; Rezoning Property Located on the South Side of Park Avenue, Approximately 100 Feet West of College Avenue, from R-3 to O-P

AN ORDINANCE

rezoning property located on the south side of Park Avenue, approximately 100 feet west of College Avenue from District R-3 to District O-P; amending the land use plan; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Zoning District Map established and adopted by Section 294 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:
                
A part of Lots numbered Sixteen (16), Seventeen (17), Eighteen (18) and Nineteen (19), in Block Two (2) in Kelley’s Addition to the City of Columbia, Missouri particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East line of Lot Number Sixteen (16), which is ten (10) feet North of the Southeast corner of said Lot Sixteen (16), thence East Parallel to the South line of Lot Number Nineteen (19) of said addition Forty (40) feet, thence North Parallel to the West line of Lots Seventeen (17), Eighteen (18) and Nineteen (19) to the South line of Paris Road , (now known as Park Avenue) thence Southwesterly along the South line of Paris Road (now known as Park Avenue) to a point which is directly North to a point on the South line of said Lot Number Sixteen (16), ten (10) feet West of the Southeast corner of said Lot Number Sixteen (16), thence South parallel to the East line of said Lot Number Sixteen (16), to a point ten (10) feet North of the South line of said Lot Number Sixteen (16), thence East ten feet to the point of beginning.

will be rezoned and become a part of District O-P (Planned Office District) and taken away from District R-3 (Medium Density Multiple-Family Dwelling District).  Hereafter the property may be used for office and single family residential uses.

    SECTION 2.  The property described in Section 1 is designated “Planned Office” on the Land Use Plan.

    SECTION 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
