AN ORDINANCE

rezoning property located on the west side of Old 63, approximately 700 feet south of Grindstone Creek from Districts A-1 and C-1 to District C-P; amending the land use plan; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Zoning District Map established and adopted by Section 294 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:

A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 48 North, Range 12 West, Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, being bounded on the East by the West R/W line of Old U.S. Highway 63 South and being bounded on the South, West and North by the survey of the “Gordon Tract” recorded in Book 422, Page 630, records of Boone County, Missouri, said tract being more particularly described as follows: Starting at the center of Section 19, Township 48 North, Range 12 West, as shown by Boone County Survey No. 7422; thence East 71.0 feet to a point on the West line of Boone County Survey No. 7643 and a survey recorded in Book 289, Page 376; thence South along the West line of Boone County Survey No. 7643 and a survey recorded in Book 289, Page 376, 137.0 feet to the Southwest corner thereof; thence South 73 degrees 31' East, along the South line of said surveys, 352.2 feet to the West R/W line of Old U.S. Highway 63 South; thence, following said R/W South 4 degrees 18' East, 99.6 feet to the P.C. of a 7 degree 40' curve to the left; thence South 15 degrees 00' east, along the chord of said curve, 278.6 feet to the P.T. thereof; thence South 25 degrees 49' East, 414.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence, leaving said R/W South 73 degrees 06' West, 65.8 feet; thence South 3 degrees 34' West, 129.1 feet; thence South 1 degree 44' East, 151.9 feet; thence South 89 degrees 40' East, 15.0 feet; thence South 1 degree 00' West, 111.8 feet; thence North 81 degrees 22' East, 307.6 feet to the West R/W line of Old U.S. Highway 63 South; thence Northwesterly along the West R/W line of Old U.S. Highway 63 South to the point of beginning.

will be rezoned and become a part of District C-P (Planned Business District) and taken away from Districts A-1 (Agricultural District) and C-1 (Intermediate Business District). Hereafter the property may be used for all permitted uses listed in “Exhibit A” which is attached to and made a part of this ordinance.

    SECTION 2.  The property described in Section 1 is designated “Planned Commercial” on the Land Use Plan.

    SECTION 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
