Section 101-357 Ord. 16512; Vacating a Sewer Right of Way Across Lots 5, 6, and 7 in Pratt's Subdivision of Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Pratt's Addition

AN ORDINANCE

vacating a sewer right-of-way; directing the City Clerk to have a copy of this ordinance recorded; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Council finds and determines that a certain sewer right-of-way, more particularly described as follows:

The conveyance of right of way for the main public sewer, of unspecified width and location, across Lots 5, 6, and 7 in Pratt’s Subdivision of Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Pratt’s Addition to the City of Columbia, recorded in book 184 page 592 of the Boone County Records.

The conveyance of right of way for the main public sewer, across Lots 5, 6, and 7 in Pratt’s Subdivision of Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Pratt’s Addition to the City of Columbia, recorded book 184 page 594 of the Boone County Records described as follows:
A strip of ground five foot wide in the north part of Lots numbered 5, 6, and 7 in Pratt’s Subdivision of Lots numbered 1, 2, and 3 in Pratt’s Addition to the Town, now City, of Columbia, Missouri, the center line of which is described as follows: to-wit:

Beginning at a point on the north line of said Lot number 7 in said Pratt’s Subdivision which said point is five feet east of the northwest corner of said Lot number 7, thence South 87E West 115 feet to a point on the west line of said Lot Number 5 in said Pratt’s Subdivision which said point is five feet South of the northwest corner of said Lot number 5.

is in excess and surplus to the needs of the City and is hereby vacated.

    SECTION 2.  The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Boone County, Missouri.

    SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
