AN ORDINANCE

rezoning property located on the west side of Oakland Gravel Road, approximately 1,000 feet north of Holly Avenue from Districts A-1 and C-P to District R-1; amending the land use plan; repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The Zoning District Map established and adopted by Section 294 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Columbia, Missouri, is amended so that the following property:

A TRACT OF LAND IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE 1/4) OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER (SE 1/4) OF SECTION THIRTY-ONE (31), TOWNSHIP FORTY-NINE (49) NORTH, RANGE TWELVE (12) WEST, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

STARTING AT THE SOUTH QUARTER CORNER OF SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 49 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST, THENCE N88°44'E ~ 2693.16 FEET, TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 49, RANGE 12 WEST; THENCE S88°49'W ~ 15.50 FEET, TO THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF OAKLAND GRAVEL ROAD, AS PER BOOK 422, AT PAGE 327; THENCE S88°49'W ~ 6.15 FEET, TO THE ADDITIONAL WEST RIGHT OF WAY, WHICH IS 33 FEET FROM CENTERLINE OF OAKLAND GRAVEL ROAD PAVEMENT; THENCE, ALONG SAID RIGHT OF WAY LINE, ALONG A 1697.80 FEET, RADIUS CURVE TO RIGHT (EAST), WITH A DEFLECTION ANGLE OF 4°19', AN ARC LENGTH OF 128.00 FEET, AND A CHORD OF N3°07'30"W ~ 127.95 FEET; THENCE, CONTINUING ALONG SAID RIGHT OF WAY, N0°58'W ~ 525.30 FEET, TO THE POINT OPPOSITE CENTERLINE P.I. AT STA. 48 + 75; THENCE, STILL ALONG SAID RIGHT OF WAY, N0°04'E ~ 3.50 FEET, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE, STILL ALONG SAID RIGHT OF WAY, N0°04'E ~ 671.55 FEET; THENCE, LEAVING SAID RIGHT OF WAY, S88°47'W ~ 833.45 FEET; THENCE S0°00'E ~ 572.00 FEET; THENCE S84°23'E ~ 836.55 FEET, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING AND CONTAINING 11.89 ACRES.

will be rezoned and become a part of District R-1 (One-Family Dwelling District) and taken away from Districts A-1 (Agricultural District) and C-P (Planned Business District).

    SECTION 2.  The property described in Section 1 is designated “Low-Density Residential” on the Land Use Plan.

    SECTION 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
