Section 101-668 Ord. 16712; Authorizing Right of Use Permits w/UMC RE: Utility Work within City Street Rights-of-Way

AN ORDINANCE

authorizing the City Manager to execute right of use permits to allow The Curators of the University of Missouri to perform utility work within City street rights-of-way; prescribing the form and content of the permits; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a right of use permit in favor of The Curators of the University of Missouri for the installation of a low voltage electric circuit within an existing utility duct bank within the Sixth Street and Locust Street rights-of-way.  The form and content of the permit shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a right of use permit in favor of The Curators of the University of Missouri for the installation of an underground electric utility duct bank across Paquin Street.  The form and content of the permit shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit B" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 3.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a right of use permit in favor of The Curators of the University of Missouri to construct a chilled water line within the Sixth Street right-of-way.  The form and content of the permit shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit C" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
