A RESOLUTION
authorizing agreements with local organizations to fund human rights education programs.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute agreements
with the
following organizations:
Boone County Related Agencies Association
Child-Centered Learning, Inc. d.b.a. Morningside Community School
Columbia Friends Meeting House, Inc.-Mid-Missouri Alternatives to Violence Council
Carolyn Sullivan Acting on behalf of PRISM
Independent Living Center of Mid-Missouri d.b.a Services for Independent Living
The Curators of the University of Missouri/Multicultural Research, Training
and Consultation
The Curators of the University of Missouri/Anthropology Department
The National Federation of the Blind of Missouri, Columbia Chapter
University YMCA/Club of Community and Justice
The form and content of the agreements shall follow the general form set forth in "Attachment
B," attached to and made a part of this resolution. Each agreement shall conform to the proposal
submitted by the organization and shall be for the amount listed for each agency in “Attachment
A” attached to and made a part of this resolution.
