Ordinance No.            16729              Council Bill No.            B 427-00           

authorizing an agreement with the Missouri Department of Public Safety for a Delinquency and Youth Violence Prevention Program Grant; authorizing a subgrant agreement with the Mid-Missouri Coalition on Adolescent Concerns; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

    SECTION 1.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Missouri Department of Public Safety for a Delinquency and Youth Violence Prevention Program Grant.  The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 2.  The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a subgrant agreement with the Mid-Missouri Coalition on Adolescent Concerns.  The form and content of the agreement shall be substantially as set forth in "Exhibit B" attached hereto and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth herein verbatim.

    SECTION 3.  The sum of $ 20,031.00 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund-Revenues  Account No. 110-4410-462.09-00 to the Social Assistance-Expenses Account No. 110-4410-542.49-90 #GDPSRM.

    SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
