AN ORDINANCE

accepting $10,000 from the Mineral Area College for hiring a graduate of the Missouri Police Corps Academy; appropriating funds; and fixing the time when this ordinance shall become effective.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The City of Columbia accepts $10,000 from the Mineral Area College for hiring a graduate of the Missouri Police Corps Academy.

SECTION 2. The sum of $ 10,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Missouri Police Corps Account No. 110-2120-480.10-15 to the following accounts:

Patrol-Vehicles 110-2120-511.65-20 $8,188.00

Equipment 110-2120-511.66-40 1,812.00

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
